Questions people ask
Do I need to buy new devices?
Usually not. Orbit Core runs on Windows PCs, Android tablets, iPads and Macs. We check what you have before you buy anything.
What if the internet goes down?
The till keeps taking orders and payments offline, and everything syncs by itself when the connection is back.
Do guests need the app?
Not to see your menu: any phone camera opens it from the QR. To order from the table and earn Orbit Points, they use the free Orbit app.
Can I change prices and items myself?
Yes, from the till, the Orbit app or the web. Your Menu Page updates with them.
Who sets everything up?
We do. We build your menu, set up devices, create staff accounts and train your team on site.
Is my data safe and separate?
Each venue's data is kept apart from every other venue, and only your own staff can see it.
